CBRE Supports Mitsubishi Motors' New Lifestyle Showroom "MI-Garden GINZA"
CBRE announced today that it had brokered the property lease contract for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's new lifestyle showroom.

CBRE announced today that it had brokered the property lease contract for Mitsubishi Motors Corporation's (headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) new lifestyle showroom "MI-Garden GINZA by MITSUBISHI MOTORS." The space which is considered the company's "new brand center" opened in September 2019 in Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
In October 2018, Mitsubishi Motors contracted CBRE to provide lease brokerage services for their new facility. Their goal was to create a space that embodied their brand and showcased their products, technology, and vision. The result of this was "MI-Garden GINZA," a new flagship showroom that offered hands-on experience to visitors.
"We needed to find a location that best-matched and promoted our brand and brand message 'Drive your Ambition'," said Fumito Ueyanagi (General Manager, Global Marketing Planning Department, Global Sales Development Division, Mitsubishi Motors) who oversaw the project. "CBRE proposed a space on Ginza Chuo-dori – a prime location that also included garden space. We deemed this to be an ideal location to communicate our message to the world. We are grateful for CBRE's support in enabling us to open the showroom in such a location."
Masashi Okumura (Senior Director, Retail Services, Advisory & Transaction Services, CBRE K.K.) also commented, "In recent years we have seen heightened corporate interest in prime retail locations in Tokyo. For areas such as Ginza Chuo-dori, which not only has constant foot traffic but also, an established reputation, there is no shortage of prospective tenants. By gathering this information, we were able to identify a location that best-suited the client's vision and goals for the space.
