CBRE Supports JR Kyushu's Acquisition and Development Plan for a Logistics Site in Sonezaki-machi, Tosu City

TOKYO, November 12, 2025 - CBRE K.K. (Headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President & COO: Takashi Tsuji) is pleased to announce its full support in the rental logistics facility development project in Sonezaki-machi, Tosu City, Saga Prefecture, announced by Kyushu Railway Company (Headquarted in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President and Executive Officer: Yoji Furumiya, hereinafter "JR Kyushu") on November 12.

CBRE's Fukuoka Office, in collaboration with Turner & Townsend K.K. (Headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Hisanao Kajiura), a CBRE group company, conducted detailed market research and analysis regarding the development site. Based on these findings, CBRE formulated a basic plan and proposed a development strategy to maximize real estate value. Subsequently, CBRE assisted in the acquisition of the development site with building conditions in Sonezaki-machi, Tosu City.

The site is located approximately 2 km from the Kyushu Expressway's "Tosu Interchange" and approximately 1.5 km from the "Ogori-Tosu Minami Smart Interchange". It faces National Route 3, a major arterial road. Via the "Tosu Junction", it allows for transportation throughout the Kyushu region. This area is an agglomeration of logistics facilities where there is expected demand for a wide-area logistics hub. The logistics facility is scheduled for completion in January 2027.

This marks the sixth logistics development project and related transaction that CBRE has supported for JR Kyushu. CBRE aims to contribute to the development and revitalization of local communities by promoting development projects through the creation of attractive and strategic real estate transaction opportunities.
