CBRE Idea Lab will be home to three dynamic themes supporting its mission of "providing a platform to enhance innovation, creativity and technology in the real estate industry”.1: Innovation
A space for sharing and testing innovative ideas for new services, products, and business models.
2: Communities:
A central platform connecting our employees and clients to the global Proptech ecosystem, facilitating the delivery of high-value solutions to CBRE clients.
3: Knowledge
A prime destination to acquire essential knowledge, learn how to drive innovation and promote digital transformation (DX), with opportunities to stay abreast of the newest technologies.
CBRE Idea Lab aims to provide creative value-added solutions to clients by combining ideas and information from employees with internal and external knowledge, emerging technologies, and support through these themes and interactions.
The CBRE Idea Lab workspace is designed to facilitate co-creation in a variety of ways, comprising an event space, technology demonstration booths, 45 workpoints for employees, and a spacious collaboration area. In addition to being available as a regular workspace, CBRE Idea Lab can also be used for internal and external meetings, industry events, technology demonstrations, and collaborative work. CBRE will showcase proprietary technologies they have developed and emerging technologies provided by their partners, with the lineup being refreshed on a regular basis.
James Harvey, Co-Head of CBRE Idea Lab, said the new space is, "where innovation, technology, and creativity converge to transform the future of our industry. We hope that more and more of our clients will use the Lab as a place to experience the latest iterations of technologies such as VR, AI, and robotics, and to work collaboratively to turn concepts from ideas into reality.”
Ai Otsu, Co-Head of CBRE Idea Lab, said, "We plan to hold a variety of events and seminars throughout the year to increase contact with and leverage CBRE Idea Lab as a 'hub of ideas' with our clients.”
