CBRE Appoints New President

Tsuji was most recently Head of Capital Markets. Under his leadership, the company’s investment business has demonstrated exceptional growth and an ability to deliver innovative solutions to clients' real estate strategies. Tsuji’s new responsibilities will leverage his extensive experience and track record in real estate and capital markets, strengthening the company’s managerial resources and business operations for the next growth stage.

Takashi Tsuji Profile
After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Tsuji joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 1991. After a posting in the Logistics Business Division, he was seconded to the New York headquarters of Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) in 1997, where he worked in the venture investment business. After returning to Japan in 2002, he worked in the real estate securitization business, mainly through the development of and investment in logistics facilities. He was transferred to Diamond Realty Management Inc. (DREAM), the private equity real estate platform established by Mitsubishi Corporation, in April 2012, before being promoted to President and CEO of DREAM in November of the same year. Tsuji joined CBRE in April 2019, as overall Head of Capital Markets Japan, leading a team of over 100 professionals across the country. He was promoted to President and COO of CBRE K.K. on October 1, 2023.
