Brett began his real estate career in 2002 in Tokyo as a Tenant Representative and spent two years there before moving back to Osaka. In this capacity, he advised the leading firms in most industries on hundreds of leasing, acquisition, and divestment transactions completed in markets nationwide.
Beginning in 2006, when he sourced several multi-family residential properties for the establishment of Japan Residential Investment Corporation (JRIC), an LSE-listed fund, he became focused on investment properties across multiple asset classes, including multi-family, office, retail, and logistics.
Fluent in Japanese, he joined CBRE’s Capital Markets team in Osaka in 2017.
