- 70%of companies are planning to implement hybrid work after the conclusion of the pandemic. The most common projected office attendance rate for companies implementing hybrid work is in the bracket between 70% and 90%.
- The pre-pandemic desk share rate of 1.06 workers per desk is projected to rise to 1.32 after the pandemic concludes. The majority of excess space produced as a result of the introduction of desk sharing plans appears likely to be used to promote office attendance.
- Due to an increased focus and clarity around the usage and purpose of offices, the reduction in contact between workers and office spaces among companies planning hybrid working schemes has actually led to a greater appreciation of the value of the office. Buildings possessing a competitive advantage are likely to be still more highly valued.
- The most highly prioritised category in the ESG-related field is worker health and happiness. The creation of offices with both the infrastructure and the operational capabilities to realise these goals will be key to the establishment of the office as a place where workers want to gather.
