• The three most active asset classes in Q4 2019 were the multifamily, industrial and office sectors which saw acquisitions total $4.1, $3.4 and $3.2 billion, respectively.

• The three largest transactions excluding M&A deals in Q4 2019 were the sale of the Edmonton City Centre to LaSalle Investment Management for $311.5 million, the sale of York Mills Centre in Toronto to GazitCanada for $240.0 million and the sale of Stoney Industrial Centre in Calgary to Crestpointfor $230.8 million.

• The most active purchasers in Q4 2019 were Private Canadian Investors, Pension Funds/Advisors and Institutional Investors. These groups accounted for 27%, 24% and 22% of acquisitions over the quarter, respectively.
