Shun Endo

Shun is the Head of Data Centre Capital Markets Asia Pacific, responsible for building client engagement strategies and driving growth and revenue in the DC sector. This is a strategic role for the business, creating single accountability in integrating and enhancing deal execution capabilities.

Shun is based in Tokyo and has been part of the market-leading Japan Capital Markets team since 2020, consistently demonstrating his ability to execute across multiple significant deals. Since 2024, he has worked on over US$4B in deals, with data centre transactions accounting for US$1.8B.

He is fluent in Japanese and English and has extensive experience in driving data centre asset investments, including development land, core & shell, and operational facilities. He also has additional responsibilities under the Japan Investment Banking business and continues to drive growth in that space.

Prior to CBRE, Shun worked at KKR Japan, focusing on private equity investment opportunities and helping the firm launch the first APAC focused real estate fund. Before KKR, Shun worked at CLSA Real Estate and worked on the FUDO real estate funds, which covered a variety of real estate asset classes in Japan including office, residential, retail and logistic development.

He also has a wealth of experience in the logistic space as he was a core member of the fund management team at GLP Japan which worked on a major development fund with one of the global pension funds.
