On August 24, CBRE (Japan Headquarters: Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) hosted its 6th annual Family Day event at its headquarters.
By opening up the CBRE office to family and friends who support employees on a daily basis, the event aims to deepen their understanding of the CBRE employee’s work and workplace, and to promote communication between them.
The event is held at the end of the school summer holidays. This year the theme was “world travel”. A variety of games, activities, and food were enjoyed by a record number of 677 participants.
Eiji Sakaguchi, President and CEO of Japan, said: “CBRE is a diverse company where people from different backgrounds collaborate to create value. Family Day celebrates this diversity and is also a means of expressing our gratitude to our employees and those who support them outside the office. We have held Family Day since 2014 and will continue to hold similar events in the future.”
“Family Day” also takes place in various formats at four other CBRE locations across Japan.
