The Company (CBRE K.K.and CBRE Japan K.K.; collectively referred as the "Company,""we," "us," or "our") will observe the Privacy Policy as stated below to ensure that we comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and appropriately treat all personal information to be provided by you.

1. Purpose of the collection and use of personal information

The purpose and scope of the Company’s use of the personal information to be provided by you shall be as follows.

2. Information provided to third parties

If any of the following circumstances apply, we may disclose necessary information to any third party, including corporate names, departments, positions, names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, or the like, among the personal information we store, by postal mail, telephone calls, e-mail, or the delivery of documents by other means; provided, however, that we will stop providing the relevant information upon the request of the principal.

3. Shared use by group companies

The following group companies may use and share required items such as your corporate names, departments, positions, names, addresses, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses, among the personal information we store, to the extent necessary to attain any purpose as stated in 1. above. In such cases, the group companies will protect your information by the same methods and to the same extent that we do.

4. Assurance of the correctness and security of personal information

To assure the correctness and security of personal information, we perform safety measures for personal information and endeavor to prevent unfair access to personal information and the loss, destruction, modification, or leakage of personal information.

5. Revision and improvement of entrusted companies

To further assure the protection of personal information, we plan to review and improve our business entrustments. When we intend to enter into a business entrustment agreement, we will require the entrusted companies to observe the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and thus strengthen the administration and supervision of the entrusted companies.

6. The system for protecting and administering personal information, and dissemination of the details of the system to promote thorough understanding among all employees

The Company will establish a person in charge of the protection and administration of personal information and define his or her duties. Accordingly, the Company will develop a system by which we can appropriately perform activities for personal information protection and continue to make further improvements.

The Company will also have all of its employees (including directors and corporate auditors, regular employees, contract employees and dispatched employees) familiarize themselves with, and strengthen their approaches to, personal information protection.

7. Disclosure, revision, and cessation of the use of personal information, and cessation of provision of personal information to third parties

When an applicant requests the Company to disclose, revise, or cease to use personal information, or to cease to provide personal information to third parties, we will confirm that the applicant is the principal and thereupon respond to that request within a reasonable scope and period, unless we have specific reasons to do otherwise.

We will establish a contact point for inquiries regarding personal information, for customers and other parties related to our Company. Please address inquiries to the contact point below for email inquiries regarding personal information.

Later, we will reply via e-mail or by sending a document. (We may separately request fees for this procedure. To confirm the identity of a principal according to the contents of any inquiry, please understand that we may request the person to come to our Company.)

9. Revision of Privacy Policy

We may revise our Privacy Policy for any reasons, such as any amendment of laws or ordinances. Changes of this type will be announced on the Homepages. When browsing the Homepages, please check for up-to-date information from time to time.

Terms of Use of the Homepages

Security

Databases of registered personal information of customers who have used the Homepages will be stored in a system protected by firewall for protection against external access. When a customer applies for a purchase or a user registration, we will process the information using SSL data encryption technology to protect the customer’s data. This will reduce the possibility of any leak or unauthorized modification of personal information entered by customers.

Cookies

Some of the pages among the Homepages use cookies. Our web server refers to cookies to identify your computer. If you visit the Homepages again, you can browse it more conveniently by using the customizing function. We may use access log information for statistical analyses, such as surveillance of the number of Homepage hits. When doing so, we will not violate your privacy in any way.

You can also configure your system to reject cookies via your browser setup. If you do so, however, you may not be able to use some or all of the services on the Homepages.

Records of access logs

The Company records access logs of accesses to the Homepages. The access logs include domain names, IP addressees, types of browsers used, access dates, and the links of the computers that have accessed the Homepages. The access logs do not include any information that can be used to identify persons. We use the access logs for statistical analyses related to the maintenance and administration, and the popularity of the Homepages. We do not use them for any other purposes.

Personal information in websites with links on the Homepages

The Company links the Homepages to the websites of third parties (other companies and associations) to more conveniently provide you with useful information and services. The Company assumes no obligations regarding the collection and handling of the personal information provided in the websites linked. Please confirm the Privacy Policy on each such website.

Reporting services, etc.

The Company will provide real estate information to those who have approved reporting service via e-mail by sending various arrangement application forms. If you desire to revise registered information or suspend the service, you may take the prescribed procedures.
