Can you tell me more about the areas of assignment, job transfers, and personnel changes?

CBRE currently has 15 offices throughout Japan as of March 2010 and employees may be assigned to any office. Many of the job transfer and personnel changes are determined through the in-house staff recruitment system and self-assessment system. The Company places importance on each employee’s attitude toward being an independent individual who thinks about his/her own career plan and takes opportunities within the Company in line with their plan.

Are there any opportunities for working abroad?

CBRE in Japan mainly supports Japanese companies expanding business overseas and works in cooperation with overseas Japan Desks and CBRE Global. Therefore, there is a possibility of working abroad if you acquire abilities for supporting total strategy planning for commercial real estate, in addition to language skills, and desire to work actively in overseas real estate business.

What happens after I am employed at the company?

You will participate in the new-employee training program for approximately one month after joining the Company. You will thereafter receive On-the-job training at the division to which you are assigned and follow-up training in October.
